Adherix Health Welcomes Dr. Evan Nadler as Clinical Advisor to Lead Expansion into Pediatric Obesity Care

Nationally recognized pediatric obesity specialist joins Adherix Health as Clinical Advisor and design partner to help build the company’s new pediatric obesity care arm.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — July 2026 — Adherix Health, a behavior-driven adherence platform for metabolic health programs, today announced that Evan P. Nadler, MD has joined the company as Clinical Advisor. Dr. Nadler will work collaboratively with the Adherix Health team as a design partner, to build out the company’s new pediatric obesity care arm.

Adherix Health’s expansion into pediatric obesity care will focus on applying the company’s adherence-driven approach to one of the most difficult and consequential challenges in adolescent medicine. Additional details on the program will be announced in the coming months.

About Dr. Evan Nadler

Evan P. Nadler, MD served as Co-Director of the Children’s National Obesity Programs and Director of the Child and Adolescent Weight Loss Surgery Program at Children’s National Hospital from 2009 until 2023. He is also a tenured Associate Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences, where he continues as an Adjunct Associate Professor.

His current work includes pediatric obesity treatment program development, authoring a book on obesity, and public education through his YouTube channel, website, and media appearances. Dr. Nadler is an international leader in the field of child and adolescent obesity, has authored numerous publications and textbook chapters on pediatric bariatric surgery, and was a founding member of the Childhood Obesity Committee of the American Pediatric Surgery Association.
